Policies
There are no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by Endurance Specific Events (Whistler X Tri, The Pemby Pounder Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry.
There are absolutely no refunds for any reason except through insurance (see below). Please buy insurance or be prepared to forfeit registration fees regardless of the reason — injuries, illness, family emergency, change in plans, travel, life circumstances, or pregnancy are none of which are eligible outside of pre-purchased insurance.
Cancellations & Refunds
- No refunds, deferrals, or credits — there are absolutely none issued by Endurance Specific Events if you cancel your entry for any reason.
- No deferrals — you cannot defer your race entry to a future year.
- Refund protection only — refunds can only be processed if you selected the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program at registration. You will have an option to refund through Protecht. Details here.
Transfers & Distance Changes
- Entry transfers are allowed — you can transfer your entry to another person via the transfer link on the registration page. There is a $5 admin fee. All transfers must be completed by midnight Friday June 12.
- No waitlists.
- Moving down in distance is allowed until midnight June 12. No credit or refund for any price difference.
- Moving up in distance is allowed until midnight June 12. You will be required to pay the price difference at the current registration rate.
- Distance changes or dropping out — send us a note at rd@endurancespecific.com.
Registration Protection
Additional registration protection can be purchased through the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program — a refund protection insurance for attendees. For a small premium, purchasers will be refunded the registration cost of a non-refundable, unused registration, less the cost of the program fees.
You will be given the opportunity to purchase the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program during registration.
Event Cancellation by Organiser
Endurance Specific Events reserves the right to cancel The Pemby Pounder Trail Run, cancel race segments, or change the route on short notice due to fire bans, fire closures, air quality, weather conditions, wildlife or safety concerns, pandemic, unforeseen construction, Acts of God, or other such reasons — with no reimbursement to the participant.
- No refunds in the case of event cancellation by Endurance Specific Events.
- Cancellation more than 2 months before the event — entries will be transferred to the next available date that the event is able to operate.
- Cancellation less than 2 months before the event — transfers may not be offered.
- Mid-race cancellations are not eligible for race credit, transfer, or refunds due to the high cost of organizing these events.
