Pemberton BC · Mackenzie Trail Network
90%+ singletrack. Stunning climbs, epic descents, and mountain views at the base of Mount Currie. Three distances, one incredible trail network.
Trail Marathon
The Pemby Full Pounder — for those that want more. The trail marathon follows the Half Pounder course with some stunning yet challenging add-ons.
Runners will continue to climb on Middle Earth past Rudy's (where the 22K runners begin their descent) and make their way to the upper paraglide launch and stunning views over Pemberton Meadows.
Refuel and rehydrate before the big descent and heading to the Mosquito Lakes area of the Mackenzie trail network. More climbing and descending before runners hit the final descent down the Sunstone to Lake trail and back to the finish. The Full Pounder will be truly epic.
Half Trail Marathon
Starting at Den Duyf Park, runners head to Pemberton Farm E Rd and run along the McKenzie basin access road before heading up Happy Trail — your first climb. For the climbers, it's your time to shine.
At the top of Happy you take the Waco connector for a nice respite before Nimby resumes the grind. After Nimby, take Let It Go until you top out at the lower Paraglide Launch where you can refuel. One more climb through stunning forest on Middle Earth before taking a right on Rudy's trail and beginning your flight down.
The real leg-shaking descent comes on Overnight Sensation — don't miss the views of Mount Currie. Finish with Radio Tower and Waterfall before coming down McKenzie FSR to the finish. It's a ripper of a course.
Trail Run
Starting at Den Duyf Park, runners head to Pemberton Farm E Rd and run along the McKenzie basin access road before heading up Happy Trail — your one and only climb of the day.
At the top of Happy you take the Waco connector before linking the fun, flowy Radio Tower, Waterfall, and Cross Town Traffic trails back to the finish line. A perfect introduction to the Mackenzie trail network.
